Ayako Akai
Ayako Akai, an accomplished illustrator and painter, brings a unique blend of cultural influences to her work. Born in Japan and spending five formative years in New Jersey, USA, Ayako’s artistic style is deeply inspired by her childhood memories and the picture books she adored in America. Currently based in Hanoi, Vietnam, she continues to captivate audiences with her evocative and nostalgic illustrations. Ayako’s educational journey began at Keio University, where she cultivated her foundational skills. She further honed her artistic talents at the Kuwasawa Design School, a prestigious institution known for fostering creative excellence.
