Neyuh
Reverse the letters “Neyuh” and you get “Huyen” – the name of the founder, a single mother of three, who started her own leather company in Ho Chi Minh City. A team of 40+ artisans are paid almost double the minimum wage, receive free daily lunches, are guaranteed overtime pay and a meal if working late plus workers receive two extra days off a month.
Neyuh’s buttery soft leather is sourced from Italy, often dyed with vegetable-based dyes whenever possible. Their goal is to minimise waste during the production process and reuse as much as possible by working leftover pieces into new designs.
